Now, there are plenty of tricks to making your blow-dry last this Spring, but when in doubt, twist your hair into a high topknot for your gym session. When you're done, make sure to spritz your hairline with a dry shampoo, such as Klorane Gentle Dry Shampoo ($12.99). Work it into your hair with your fingertips, and then brush it out completely. You'll look just as royal as Kate Middleton . . . well, at least close to it.
Kate Middleton made her first public appearance since debuting Prince George outside St. Mary’s Hospital, and we can't stop obsessing over (among many things!) her gorgeously thick waves. The Duchess of Cambridge, along with her husband, Prince William, kicked off the Ring O'Fire Anglesey Coastal Ultra Marathon in Wales yesterday. Decked out in country-chic attire, Kate stuck with her signature eyeliner and rosy makeup look, but she ditched her usually sleek blowout for something that looks a lot more natural. And it has us wondering if these curls are her natural texture?
New mums often experience thicker hair during pregnancy, and sometimes a woman's hair can change post-partum. We don't know if it's the post-baby glow or just Kate's natural waves, but we're willing to bet her hair has some natural curl to it. Her wavy texture is probably the reason her blowouts look so beautifully curled on the ends, not to mention the bounce and body. Whatever the reason, we're just excited to see Kate change up her hair and try a more casual texture.
Kate Middleton's hair is as flawless as ever in newborn Prince George's first official family portrait. This isn't the first time the Duchess of Cambridge has inspired hair envy, however. From her wedding day to the queen's Diamond Jubilee to her post-maternity ward send-off, get your fill of hair inspiration with a look back at Kate's best hair looks.
With the birth of little Prince George earlier this week, we've been in the grip of a seriously strong bout of royal fever. And it's not just the newborn we're focusing on, it's also his unflappable mum, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge (better known as Kate Middleton). The thing about royals is that, like celebrities, they have to look picture perfect at all times — and Kate never lets us down.
From long, wavy tresses that outshine the sun, to short blonde crops and pared-back buns, Kate, Princess Charlene of Monaco, Princess Madeleine of Sweden and many more don't skip a beat when it comes to beauty. Whether they hold official royal titles or not (Charlotte Casiraghi, we're looking at you!), they carry themselves elegantly and with utmost sophistication — and that's all part of the charm. The day we've all been waiting for has arrived, Kate and Prince William have left St. Mary's Hospital in London carrying their healthy baby boy. New mum Kate looked radiant with a beaming smile and glowing skin. She added a touch of her signature dark eyeliner to complement her undeniably bouncy hair. Several hours before, it was widely reported that hairdresser Amanda Cook Tucker had arrived to style Kate's famously impeccable hair. "Kate's hairdresser has just arrived at the Lindo Wing," royal photographer Arthur Edwards shared on his Twitter account.

Kate Middleton and Prince William got in the St. Patrick's Day spirit when they attended a holiday parade in Aldershot, England, yesterday. The Duchess stepped out with a fresh look for the celebrations, switching up her signature bouncy blow dry for an elaborate woven up 'do. It was the perfect style to sit under her black hat, not that we're looking at anything other than that baby bump. Click through to zoom.
From her chic wardrobe to her gorgeous, high-shine hair, Kate Middleton is a classic beauty. And since she recently debuted bangs, we've been even more envious of the Duchess of Cambridge. Our US Sugar sisters headed to The Private Room in Beverly Hills — a salon that specialises in different types of hair fringe — to learn how to get bangs that mimic Kate's. See how in today's hair tutorial.
The new wax figures of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are proving to be a popular addition to Madame Tussauds in London. In particular fans paying close attention to Kate Middleton who is known for her lustrous locks. Liz Edwards, a spokesperson for the tourist attraction said: "Visitors are delighted by how accurate they are . . . The Duchess' beautiful hair has been especially popular with guests who are able to get up close and inspect her trademark glossy tresses." The making of wax figures is an intricate process as Dannii Minogue revealed — her wax figure will be unveilved next month when Madame Tussauds opens in Sydney — and Edwards says that it took six weeks for a hairstylist to create Kate's lustrous mane, inserting each strand of hair individually. Did the hard work pay off; is the likeness uncanny do you think?
The average temperature in London has been around 1°C but it'll take more than snow and near-freezing temperatures to take down Kate Middleton's hair. If anything it looks more shiny and perfectly curled than ever. The Duchess of Cambridge stepped out in London last night for a preview of Lucian Freud paintings at the National Portrait Gallery. Sporting a fresh blow-dry, likely at the hands of mane man James Pryce (her go-to stylist), Kate looked flawless. If you're looking for some Thursday morning shine-spiration, you've certainly come to the right place. But something that did catch us off guard is her lashes. Is it just us or does the Duchess look as though she's traded in black for a pop of navy blue mascara? We're pretty certain she has.
