Another week filled with all things celebrity, fashion and beauty down! We were blessed with (mostly) beautiful weather this week, which had us daydreaming of days lying poolside or on the beach — and it didn't hurt that fashion editor Jasmine got to check out some pretty new bikinis and hats from Seafolly! Health and beauty editor Alison was inundated with cool new beauty bits and pieces to try (the new NARS collection, anyone?) and celebrity and entertainment editor Jess got up close and personal with all the stars of rugby league at the Dally M Awards on Tuesday night. Click through to check out our week in pictures, and don't forget to follow POPSUGAR Australia on Instagram for all this and more!
Australian womenswear designer Sara Phillips is known for her striking pieces and love for creating clothes that are a wearable art form. Her reputation precedes her, in the best way possible, and her latest collection efforts don't let her down. The hero print of the range, inspired by 19th century artist Earnest Haeckel, makes you feel like you're looking at the underwater world — it's dark, dramatic, vivid, beautiful. The shapes are undeniably feminine, but like the woman who wears them, these clothes have a certain strength to them. Think hard structured lines with pretty scalloped edging. Keen to see the range? It's no secret that we love a bit of One Teaspoon round these parts. The easy, edgy, cool-without-trying label has been a summer-friendly staple since its inception in 2000, and the brand's latest offering reminds us exactly why. Starring gorgeous Aussie model Rachel Rutt and styled by founder Jamie Blakey, the look book was shot by photographer Ben Sullivan, who also shot the label's campaign with Erin Wasson earlier this year. The Easy Rider range mixes the grungy with the hippie, lending a rock-meets-boho feel to the jumpsuits, capes, flares and maxis that feature in the collection. It's all available online now, or in store, and prices ranges from $59 to $380 — so good, right? Click through the gallery to check it all out now!
If there's one thing we love, it's fashion with a purpose. So you can imagine how pleased we were when we caught wind that luxury leathergoods designer Rachael Ruddick (she of the delish cult cuffs) was branching out with a new permanent collection — and that the pieces are specifically for travel. What's that, you say? Luxury leather, built to fulfill all your jet-setting heart's desires? Yep, swoon. Rachael Ruddick's The Well Heeled Wanderer Collection features travel and technology accessories that'll complement your journey, not hinder it — say bye-bye to clunky carry-ons and lost gadgets! We've got the pieces here for you to see (visit the online store here); just click through, and feel that wanderlust start to take over . . .
