Celebrity Candids: See What Miranda, Karl, Rosie & more got up to this week

Between the slew of award shows and big red-carpet events, it was a busy week for some of our favourite style and beauty setters.

Between the slew of award shows and big red-carpet events, it was a busy week for some of our favourite style and beauty setters. We got a glimpse of the one and only Karl Lagerfeld on set at a photo shoot, and hung out with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Lana Del Rey and Jaime King at the Golden Globes after-party. Doutzen Kroes sipped on a fresh coconut from where we'd rather be, and Aussie Isabelle Cornish made us wanna wear anything camouflage with her cool take on the trend. Zooey Deschanel's nails were incredible and Nicole Richie's detailing stunning, but the picture that got the most attention on social media this week? Miranda Kerr's Golden Globes selfie. Check it all out right here!

The New Camera That Lets You Retouch and Add Makeup!

Hold onto your horses, peeps, for have I got some news for you.

Hold onto your horses, peeps, for have I got some news for you. There's a new camera that's about to hit Australia and boy, is it made for beauty addicts. If you're interested in tech speak, our brother site Gizmodo describes the Panasonic Lumix FX-77 ($499) as: "A compact little number with a 3.5-inch touchscreen, 5x optical zoom, 12.1MP CCD and Full HD video recording." But we're more interested in the fact that it comes with a retouching function that not only allows you to remove dark circles and whiten teeth, but also lets you make your face look smaller and you can even add a little blush and eyeshadow! It all came about because of a study that the brand did: "According to data we've acquired, around 50 percent of our digital camera clients are not satisfied with the way their faces look in a photograph. So we came up with the idea so our clients can fix parts they don't like about their faces after they've taken the picture." We're struggling to wonder how long we've lasted this long without it! What do you think of the idea? Are you keen to try it? Or do you think the world's gone Photoshop-crazy?

Kate Middleton Shows Us How to Look Good in Photos

Whether it's for an engagement photo or your new profile pic, looking good in photos in something every woman wants to nail.

Whether it's for an engagement photo or your new profile pic, looking good in photos in something every woman wants to nail. And with these handy hints below, you can look as gorgeous as Kate Middleton does in her official Royal Engagement Portrait. Sigh. So beautiful.

TIP #1: Make sure there's some body to your hair. If your strands are slicked straight against your head, they'll have the tendency to look limp, lank and a little bit lifeless. Frédéric Fekkai Instant Volume Spray ($38) is great to spritz on at the roots; it adds healthy bounce and body to the hair making it look ah-mazing.

TIP #2: If you're having a fat day — we all have them — add some height to your hair at the crown. Doing this elongates the face, making it appear slimmer.

TIP #3: Even if you don't think you're shiny, blot before you snap. The super-duper HD powers of cameras today are not your friend. But blotting papers are. We love Bobbi Brown's ones that come in a refillable faux-leather case ($40). Follow with a dusting of powder but ONLY on the areas where skin is at its most oily — the forehead, around the nostrils and the chin.

Style Stalk: AnnaLynne McCord Strikes a Pose

Do you have a photo pose?

Do you have a photo pose? Go on, admit it if you do. I'm pretty sure every single girl I know has some sort of trusty pose they rely on again and again for a good shot. Bella, for instance, cleverly smiles without showing any teeth. Another friend of mine always keeps her hand firmly on her hip (easiest way to achieve skinny-arm, apparently), and I must admit, I always like to tilt my chin down for the best angle on my face. Celebrities have known all this for years and almost always stick to their tried and trusted formula for every photo op. I'm afraid 90210 hottie AnnaLynne McCord has peharps taken the whole thing a tad too far. It's one thing to blow a kiss every now and again, but it's another to start throwing smooches left, right and centre, know what I mean? Click through our gallery to see AnnaLynne pucker up...often.

Guess Who?

Sex and The City 2 mayhem has swept New York, and I'm jumping on the bandwagon by giving you 50 of the very best premiere pics from today's star studded event. The cast dazzled in outfits eerily similar to their SATC alter egos, and other celebrity pals did their very best to join in on all the red carpet designer action. Remember, this is just the beginning. There'll be other SATC2 premieres following shortly as the movie opens worldwide throughout the next few weeks. Now, excuse me whilst I go reserve my tickets for Australia's June 2nd release...woohoo!
