Winging It: Kim Kardashian Talks Plastic Surgery With InStyle UK

Just like the camera crews and paparazzi follow Kim Kardashian's every move, so do rumours of plastic surgery.

Just like the camera crews and paparazzi follow Kim Kardashian's every move, so do rumours of plastic surgery. Once again she addresses them, telling InStyle UK (she's their August cover girl) that she's all-natural, but maybe not forever: "It's crazy that people think I've had my nose, cheeks, and lips done. It's just not the case. I'm not against plastic surgery. I will definitely need a boob lift after I have kids. Who knows if I will want to do my face one day? My mom did it, I told her to do it." In the accompanying editorial shots Kim sports her signature smoky eye and nude-pink lip as well as a gorgeous winged eye which you can see in all its glory as Kim lounges by the pool — in a designer dress and gold jewels. Such is life for a Kardashian.

Charlize Theron: "I Can't Forsee Myself Ever Going Under the Knife"

Ageing and plastic surgery seem to inevitably crop up in magazine interviews with actresses as they dissect roles that see them alter their appearance or deal with inner vs. outer beauty.

Ageing and plastic surgery seem to inevitably crop up in magazine interviews with actresses as they dissect roles that see them alter their appearance or deal with inner vs. outer beauty. Charlize Theron is the latest A-lister to be talking about the issue when she was quizzed on her perception of herself by Elvis Mitchell in Interview magazine. Charlize — who shares the spread with her Snow White and the Huntsman co-star Kristen Stewart — speaks candidly about the ageing process and what path it will lead her down: "I'm also now in my mid-thirties, so I look in the mirror and my face is changing, and I have a different relationship all of a sudden with myself. Your face changes, things change—that's just kind of what happens. [laughs] It's hard, though, in this industry, because I think so much importance is put on how you look, and I'm not brave enough to be like, "You know what? I'm just going to let it happen. Whatever. I'm so cool with every line on my face." There are days when I definitely look in the mirror and go, "All right, I need to find a cream." I can't foresee myself ever going under the knife, but then again, I'm only in my mid-thirties. Maybe it's different when you're in your mid-sixties. I don't know, so I don't want to make statements about where I'm gonna be in 30 years."

Just like Gwyneth Paltrow before her, Harper's Bazaar US' latest cover girl, Mila Kunis, got the same questions about Botox — has she, hasn't she; will she, won't she? Speaking frankly about the issue — hey, we'd expect no less from the girl who jumped to her Friends With Benefits co-star's defence in fluent Russian — Mila says: "I will not put a needle in my body unless I have a medical reason but ask me in 10 years. Right now, I’m like, 'I'm going to embrace it,' but . . . I'm probably going to want to have something done. I have no doubt." So if it's not Botox, what's on her makeover list? Her derrière. "I'd be happy if my ass got bigger," confesses the actress who says her body "has never been the same" since Black Swan.

Drew Barrymore fronts US InStyle's February issue looking beautiful and fresh-faced on the cover, but it's the subscribers edition (pictured above) that caught our eye. In particular her beautiful berry lip stain. Gorgeous. In the accompanying interview the Big Miracle star talks about her fiancé Will Kopelman and how she feels about "pushing 40." Naturally the topic of handling ageing came up and, as you'd expect with Drew, the actress is open-minded to the process and doesn't want to turn back time by going under the knife: "I say, don’t fight the rings on the trunk of a tree. Just keep counting ‘em. The idea of not looking like myself scares me."

Jennifer Aniston Thinks Botox is "a Slippery Slope"

Jennifer Aniston is famous for her youthful look, but it's led to speculation about plastic surgery and less invasive procedures such as Botox and other fillers.

Jennifer Aniston is famous for her youthful look, but it's led to speculation about plastic surgery and less invasive procedures such as Botox and other fillers. She address the topic, as well as changes she's noticing in her skin, in the January issue of InStyle.

  • On Botox: "People think that I do a lot of injections, but I don't. I’m not saying that I haven’t tried it . . . but I see how it’s a slippery slope. All that cosmetic stuff looks ridiculous on me."
  • On finally feeling at peace with her looks: "I was a dumpy teenage. My mum was a model and was all about looks, so I rebelled by going goth. It took me years of peeling back the onion to finally stop using makeup as a mask and feel comfortable in my skin."
  • On how ageing changes your skin: "I’ve started getting those little sun spots. Things are beginning to pop out. Even the texture [of my skin] is changing. So I've recently started zapping the spots and getting spray tans whenever I can."
