Turns out hairstylist Oribe Canales, who last week let it slip that Kate Moss will appear on an upcoming cover of Playboy, isn't the only world-class artist involved with the production of the much talked-about shoot. According to Page Six, noted fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott shot the cover, and Moss herself has reportedly commissioned artist Chuck Close to create a work of art based on the resulting photographs. None of the people who are said to be involved with the cover — other than Canales — have offered hard-and-fast confirmation on it, and a Playboy representative said in a statement that the magazine had no comment "one way or the other." The cover, rumours of which began circulating this March, would coincide with Playboy's 60th anniversary and with Moss's 40th birthday — making it a big milestone for both the model and the magazine.

Lindsay Lohan’s mother Dina revealed in late October that Lindsay would be posing for Playboy. Well, the results of that nude photo shoot have been leaked, which means Lindsay is on display more than ever before. (Due to the leak the magazine has had to push forward its on-sale date.) The photos are meant to pay homage to Marilyn Monroe’s 1953 Playboy shoot — not the first time Lindsay has channelled the icon — so Lindsay is dressed in nothing but heels and red lipstick, and in the accompanying interview Lindsay quotes the actress on matters like sexuality and being confident and comfortable with her body.

Lindsay said, “Sex and sexuality are a part of nature, and I go along with nature. I think Marilyn Monroe once said that. I certainly agree with her . . . Knowing yourself and your body is so important because it gives you confidence, and in life, women need confidence. It’s a very male-dominated world to begin with, so knowing yourself and being comfortable with your body is an important thing for me as a woman.” And it seems like Lindsay has Hugh Hefner’s seal of approval, as the Playboy founder tweeted, “The Lindsey Lohan issue will make the perfect Christmas issue for men in your life--father, son, husband, boyfriend, whoever.”

It’s been a sad few days for Hugh Hefner. The Playboy founder was all set to get married to Crystal Harris this weekend, but his 25-year-old fiancée called the wedding off yesterday, with Hugh, 85, breaking the news on his Twitter account, writing, “Crystal has had a change of heart.” So what caused Crystal to change her mind? She gave an interview to Ryan Seacrest on his radio show and said, “For a while, I’d been having second thoughts about everything, so I haven’t really been at peace with myself lately. It was all just happening too fast for me.”

Justin Timberlake opened up in the latest issue of Playboy about his upcoming movies, Bad Teacher and Friends With Benefits, and his past and present loves. JT has been linked to sexy starlets from Olivia Wilde to Mila Kunis since his split from Jessica Biel a few months ago. He seems to be staying single for now, but Justin explained to the magazine that it's almost easier for him to date fellow famous people despite the attention and press that goes along with it. The former boy band leader seemed at ease talking about his early life and career, including his days as a teen heartthrob and ex Britney Spears. JT even admitted to smoking pot and also shared sweet sentiments that revealed why he's really a romantic at heart. Justin told Playboy:

• On the viral video comparing Britney's old performances to her new ones: "The Internet is a cruel place. What a f*cked-up thing to do. I don’t have too much to say about her situation. I can’t remember the last conversation I had with her. But this thing that happens online bothers me — these anonymous commenters. People think they can say anything, and it doesn’t matter to people. I’d love to see the people who comment about Britney online say those things to her face, because they couldn’t. Also, in Britney’s defense, if you pulled up a video I did from 2003, I couldn’t do the sh*t I did then either."
• On whether it would just be easier to date a non-celeb: "Technically, I guess. But you can’t help who you have feelings for. If you turn it off because someone is famous, then you’re being unfair to yourself. You could walk down each of those roads and find pros and cons. The girl from the dry cleaners is not going to understand how I feel about the work schedule and pressures I have. You probably gravitate toward people who understand your scenario. At the end of the day, you just want someone who gets you, who can be a friend. That’s kind of the point of Friends With Benefits. As corny as it sounds, the 'friends' part counts just as much as the 'benefits' part, if not more."
• On if he thinks casual hookups between friends can work: "God, I’m the worst person to ask about that. I don’t know. I don’t think I’ve ever had that type of relationship. I get hooked on every level when I get close to someone. If you build enough chemistry to want to be intimate like that, someone’s going to catch feelings, and usually it happens quickly."

Georgina said of the collab, "The Playboy Bunny costume is one of fashion and pop culture's most iconic emblems. We were excited to design our own interpretation in celebration of the Playboy Club's reopening. The Playboy brand is about fantasy and escapism, which are elements embodied in our Marchesa collections." Well, when you put it like that... we can kinda see the connection. The show pieces launched yesterday and will be auctioned to raise funds for Breast Cancer Awareness. We took a look at the super sexy range and picked our faves. The blonde bombshell graced the covers of Interview, LOVE, UK Vogue, Vogue Paris, and Vogue China (to name a few) this year, as well as starring in campaigns for Versace, Prada, H&M, Calvin Klein, and Louis Vuitton. And that doesn't even start to include all the freakin' amazeballs editorials she's clocked up!

It's been tumultuous as well as a busy 2010 for the new Mrs David Walliams who recently took Playboy to court, but ultimately this unique beauty came out on top. Awarded Model of the Year at last night's British Fashion Awards in London, and still ranked numero uno on Models.com, how could we not agree with the majority and give Lara our Sugar Award for 2010 Model of the Year? English model and actress Kelly Brook has gone naked for a shoot in Playboy's September's magazine. Here's a preview of her nude pics, taken by photographer Ellen von Unwerth. Kelly also chatted to the mag about her upcoming movie Piranha 3D and her worries about doing the saucy shoot. She said:

• On being discovered by director Alexandre Aja while on holiday in LA: “I was minding my own business, really, and then all of a sudden Hollywood approached me... I was eating fish-and-chips at a café because I was feeling a bit homesick [and Alexandre Aja spotted me and] sent a woman over so it would seem less creepy. They had no idea who I was, and I was quite flattered when they asked if I’d be interested in reading for a part [in Piranha 3D].”
• On posing nude for Playboy: “I was a little self-conscious about the Playboy shoot because I look at the other girls in the magazine and they’re just so perfect. I’m not 20 anymore, my boobs are real, and they even hang a little. But Ellen von Unwerth is amazing, and she really brought us back to those gorgeous shoots from the 1960s and 1970s, when the girls were all natural. You don’t see that very often these days.”
