Kaley Cuoco on Big Bang, Balance, and Her Battle With Acne

Kaley Cuoco has been in the acting business for over 20 years, and readily admits to some struggles along the way. "I had acne as a teen and it made me so insecure to be on camera - not a good thing when you are on a television series," she says. After her mum suggested Kaley try Proactiv, though, the actress's skincare concerns faded into the background. "I was at the point where I would have tried anything. Ten years later I'm still using it!"

And now at 26, Kaley is Proactiv's latest spokesperson. She counts the brand's Daily Protection Plus Sunscreen SPF 30 as a favourite, along with Sachajuan Volume Powder, Josie Maran Argan Balm, and Hourglass Powder as her makeup bag staples. A good attitude does wonders too. "I learned early on in this business that for every person who loves you, there are 10 who don't. I have many passions outside my work, and I think that's why I have maintained such a balanced life," Kaley explains.

As for season six of The Big Bang Theory, the CBS comedy in which she stars, expect the unexpected. She does reveal that Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and her character, Penny, will work on their relationship. But when it comes to the similarities between the actress and the role she portrays, that's where a big line gets drawn into the sand. "The only thing I have in common with my character is that we both live next to other people," she quips.

Glee's Naya Rivera Gets Proactiv Against Bad Breakouts

Naya Rivera is the latest star to sign up as a spokesperson for Proactiv, joining Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Avril Lavigne and many more as global ambassadors for the acne-fighting brand. The Glee actress revealed the news via her Twitter account, saying she was "proud to be the new face of Proactiv Solution" and is excited for her fans to see the commercial. The 24-year-old, who plays Santana on the hit show, said she was put onto the brand by a makeup artist on set after her skin started to break out: "It sort of just came out of nowhere. It was like adult acne, and I was like, I've had great skin my entire life. How am I dealing with this now at 24?" No doubt her fans will relate to her honesty about a problem that affects so many.

Proactiv Has a New #1 Spokeswoman: Caroline Wozniacki

OK, so Justin Bieber and Katy Perry might not be too happy with me relegating them to second place, but Caroline Wozniacki is number one in the tennis world right now. And my guess is she's feeling pretty good about herself, having kicked her acne and landed a cosmetics contract with Proactiv. The Danish tennis player - currently in Melbourne for the Australian Open - was first introduced to the brand by friends.

The news coincides with the new formulation of the products, which now feature microcrystal benzoyl peroxide. The new formula not only works faster, but is also gentler on the skin*. Caroline says of her new role: "I'm glad I have Proactiv. A lot of athletes struggle with their skin because we're always sweating, and we're under a lot of stress. I see other girls in the locker room trying to cover their pimples with makeup, but they know it's not going to work. The minute you start sweating, it comes right off. It's really nice to wake up with great skin on the morning of a big match because then I can focus on the yellow ball instead of pimples!"
