You Asked: I've Applied Too Much Makeup, Is There a Quick Fix or Do I Take It All Off?
In this week's "Ask Bella" post, where we aim to make the cosmetics world a clearer place, we're talking makeup mishaps and quick fixes after Jess called on us for help after a bronzer overload:
"Bella, what I can I do when I accidentally apply too much makeup just before I rush out the door? I don't have time to take it all off and start again but I don't want to look too bronzed. Help! What should I do?"
Hi Jess! The good news is, you're not alone. Even A-listers like Nicole Kidman and Uma Thurman have off days where their makeup doesn't sit right. And secondly, you don't need to take it all off — not if you don't have time. There are a couple of quick fix solutions for being heavy-handed with the bronzer or a tad over-zealous with your moisturiser, which can happen for a number of reasons.
If you've applied too much moisturiser: Take a 2-ply tissue and gently separate the sheets. Use the inside to gently blot off excess oil and shine that the moisturiser has left on your skin.
