We put the call out for readers who wanted to review the Simple Kind to Skin Wipes ($6.99), and seeing as though they are a favourite among models and the Sugar editors alike (they're actually the number one facial skincare brand in the UK), we weren't short of volunteers! Our chosen beauties have been putting the colourant-free, alcohol-free and artificial perfume-free cleansing wipes through their paces, and the first round of results were really positive. Let's see what our second round of reviewers had to say!

"Beauty products that require minimum time but provide maximum results are my friend. We all know that makeup needs to be removed each and every night, but there are some occasions where scrubbing at the sink is the last thing on my to-do list! Enter, the Simple Skin Facial Wipes. One thorough swipe around each area of your face and neck takes off most makeup, while a second swipe with a fresh cloth ensures all traces of eye makeup and base is removed properly. Such a lifesaver! I make sure a pack is permanently kept in my gym bag, car and overnight bag to ensure I never have an excuse to sleep with a made-up face again. Winner." – Klarissa

"These wipes are handy to keep in your bathroom cabinet or handbag, but I wouldn’t use them each and every day. You need to use more than one cloth to get a really deep clean, which is often achieved more easily with cleanser and face cloth. I liked the ease of these wipes, and the lack of alcohol and oil meant they didn’t dry my skin out afterwards, but I think I’ll save them for occasional use only." – Sally

Our chosen beauties have been putting the colourant-free, alcohol-free and artificial perfume-free cleansing wipes through their paces, and we can't wait to hear the results. Do they remove stubborn makeup? Are they safe for the most sensitive of skin sufferers? Let's see what our first round of reviewers had to say!

"I'm always a bit doubtful when it comes to cleansing wipes, but I have to admit my fears were misplaced with the Simple Kind to Skin Wipes. No filmy residue, no stinging and best of all it got off my Friday night Smokey eye. No more going to bed with my face on! I like the subtle clean smell, too." — Veronica

"Facial cleansing wipes are an essential for me, so I've tried more than my fair share! The Simple wipes stood out from others, mostly because they didn't leave my face feeling soapy. I often rinse after using other brands, but didn't feel the need with these puppies. In fact my skin felt so soft I could've skipped my night moistuiser. Very impressed." — Stacey

Reader Reviews: Nivea Sensitive Protect Deodorant Roll On

We put the call out for readers who wanted to review Nivea Sensitive Protect Deodorant Roll On ($3.79) last month and had an overwhelming response!

We put the call out for readers who wanted to review Nivea Sensitive Protect Deodorant Roll On ($3.79) last month and had an overwhelming response! We've already reported the first round of reviews, and now it's time to hear what the remaining reviewers had to say. Nivea Sensitive Protect Roll On claims to give 48-hours of anti-perspirant, and is targeted at sensitive skin sufferers because it is free from alcohol, colourants and preservatives. Here's what our readers had to say...

"I liked the products packaging, especially the purple print and the feather. The product was very easy to apply and was very soothing to my underarm area. It was thinner than other deodorants and dried quickly. It definitely provides all day anti-perspiration protection. I did not find the product irritating, there was no burning sensation. The skin under my arms felt soothed and moisturised. The product was definitely gentle enough for me. I would definitely use this product again." – Caroline

"The texture felt really smooth and gently to apply which was great, it didn’t have a scent to it which is not a good or a bad thing really, as long the deodorant works was the most important. The product definitely worked for me, but I did find on the hotter days perspiration seemed to come through a bit more and it lacks the staying power. It left no white marks or chalky residue which I loved. I also really loved the packaging and the design of the bottle however, I found it be heavier than most deodorants due to the glass shape." – Sam

The chosen ones have been hard at work and play testing out the product which claims to give 48-hours of anti-perspirant protection. Nivea Sensitive Protect Deodorant Roll is perfect for sensitive skin sufferers because it is free from alcohol, colourants and preservatives — so let's see what our first round of reviewers had to say!

“The Nivea Sensitive Protect deodorant ticked all the boxes for me. The formula of this roll-on really works. I have really sensitive skin, so it’s difficult to find one that is suitable and doesn’t irritate me. I also prefer my deodorants to have mild scents therefore it doesn’t compete and clash with my perfume. The product was very easy to use, didn’t leave any white marks on my clothes, dried quickly and most importantly it controlled odour. The size of the item was convenient, easily fitted into my travel cosmetic/gym bag. Would highly recommend it those who have sensitive skin.” – Priscilla

“I usually prefer aerosol spray deodorants, but I found the Nivea roll on really effective. It smelt nice, didn’t mark my clothes and kept me feeling fresh right through the day.” – Tara

"The problem with deodorants for 'sensitive' types is sometimes they don't work — luckily this isn't the case with Nivea Sensitive Protect. The almost-nothing smell meant that my deodorant didn't compete with my perfume (win!) but I didn't get any of the sting that comes with hard-core anti-perspirants. I really liked the simple, fuss-free roll-on packaging = so much more precise than a spray-everywhere aerosol, and never noticed any dreaded white marks on clothing. For me, Nivea Sensitive Protect ticks all the boxes, so I'll be buying again. And again!" — Viv

The Sugar Spotlight crew are back better than ever, this time bringing you their amazing written and video reviews of Aveeno's Positively Radiant Tinted Moisturiser ($22.99). In the spotlight today is Michelle, who completed an informative written review giving us her thoughts on the product. Check out what Michelle and the rest of the review team had to say!

"I really enjoyed using the Aveeno Positively Radiant Tinted Moisturiser. I found it the perfect product to use on the weekend, especially as I wear heavy makeup during the week to work. It was easy to apply and I didn't find that I had any streaky marks over my face, as I have an extremely fair skin tone. My favourite part about this product was that it absorbed into my skin well and remained in place for the duration of the day, and it's subtle light-reflecting particles gave my an extra glow. I wish that it had an SPF factor of 30, but I will still continue to use it. I would definitely recommend this product to my friends." — Michelle

"I have really dry skin, so when I got sent the Aveeno Positively Radiant Tinted Moisturiser, I was interested to see how my skin would react to it, and whether it would clump around the dry patches like the other tinted moisturisers I have tried in the past. Fortunately, this product was the perfect match for me. I have olive skin, so I found that when I mixed both the light and medium variations, I got a good colour. I also liked the light-reflecting particles, as they gave me an extra glow. I still applied a little blush after using it, but this is definitely my weekend makeup, especially when I don't want to have to apply a full face of makeup. I would definitely buy this again." — Rachel

In the spotlight today is Valerie, who completed a thorough written review giving us her thoughts on the product. Check out what Valerie and the rest of the reviewers had to say!

"The texture of the Aveeno Positively Radiant Tinted Moisturiser was nice and soft, and I found it quite easy to blend out. It has a faint floral scent, which I didn't mind as I don't have a particularly sensitive nose, so I was ok with it. I liked the tint — I used the medium colour which I thought would be too light but when blended out it fit quite well with my skin. I also found that there were light-reflecting particles that definitely gave me a subtle but still radiant glow. I didn't find that the colour deepened on my skin, but that could also be due to the heat interstate! I also only ever use tinted moisturisers and foundations with SPF, so that was definitely a plus in my book. The new-look packaging is great, it has a more luxe, up-market feel to it which I think will help when marketing the brand. The only change I would make is that I did find the product a little bit oily on my skin, but that could be from the way my skin is (combination). Otherwise, I like the product and I will certainly look at other Aveeno products now!" — Valerie
