Sure you can blow-dry or diffuse every morning, but not only does that cut into coveted sleep time, but the added heat can damage your strands. Save time (and your hair's integrity) by shampooing and air-drying at night instead. So get more sleep, along with three night-time styling ideas, when you read more.
Nicole Kidman opened up to Karl Stefanovic in a candid interview on 60 Minutes last night. As well as speaking openly about her fertility struggles and showing off snaps of her two gorgeous daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, Nicole talked about her now-MIA signature curls and beauty being more than just skin deep.
On her famous curls: I've actually had the Brazilian blow-out. I had that once. But my whole life has been trying to get rid of curly hair. Yeah any curly-haired girl will tell you that.
On being careful what you wish for: Now, I'm like, I wish the curls would come back but they don't come back in the same ringlety way.
On beauty being more than skin deep: Love — in terms of the goal — is I want you to love my soul. Because we're going to grow old together and all of that will go and if that's what's captured you or has you interested, then we're doomed.
On advice she'd give to her 21-year-old self: Enjoy it . . . Choose love.
YAY! Oprah's finally landed! First stop: Cairns airport where she was greeted by a TRILLION fans. Second stop: Hamilton Island. Third stop: hug a koala. Obviously. It's what you do when you touch down in Auuusssttttrrrraaaalllliiiiiiaaaa. You know that. Now, in honour of having the talk show host of talk show host's on our very own soil, we've dug deep into the Winfrey Files to track her many beauty transformations. We already know that she loves Australian brand Hissyfit — her makeup artist Reggie Wells introduced her to it — and that she uses Philosophy Hope in a Jar moisturiser, but did you know that she used to wear her hair in SUPER-tight ringlets or that she's worn a fringe in every which way possible? Check it out now!
Woah! Rihanna debuted a whole new look at the AMAs tonight, with voluminous spiral curls that matched her dress and lime green eyeshadow that played up her green eyes. It's a similar shade to the one we saw in Milan on the Alberta Ferretti models. RiRi has NEVER been one to shy away from bold combinations, but do you think her Christmas palette was a bit too much?

Finally! Someone who has 100 percent TOTALLY nailed race day glamour. Can I get a woot woot for Georgia May Jagger, please? The British beauty looked flawless with her big-bodied ringlet curls and statement orange lip. Y'all know that I love me a bold pout and I would've liked to see more of them around at Spring Racing Carnival. She paired her matte mandarin lip with gold-rimmed eyes. Gorge. Throw in a side sparkly headpiece and that picture-perfect skin of hers and it's a winning look from the Invisible Zinc and Rimmel ambassador. 10/10, no?

You'd think if you're famous enough to get your own wax figure at Madame Tussauds, not to mention owner of the World's Sexiest Hair, then people might know how you tend to wear your hair. Not if Taylor Swift. The "Speak Now" singer — who's rumoured to be dating Jake Gyllenhaal — is famed for her tight ringlets, winged eyeliner and red lipstick, but at the unveiling of her wax figure yesterday, her hair was more of a loose wave. They've got her part and eye makeup pretty much spot on, but do you think they should re-style her hair?
I was a little surprised to hear that Taylor Swift had nabbed the Sexiest Hair accolade on the Victoria’s Secret 'What Is Sexy?' 2010 list. It's not that I don't like Taylz, I do. Ever since she was actually funny and held her own in Valentine's Day, I've been a bit of a fan, but (there's always a but) her curls stress me out. I see them everywhere.
See, I used to think she was in a bit of a ringlet rut, but digging a little deeper she's actually been semi-versatile with her styling throughout the years. My bad. What do you think, has she done enough to earn the title? If not, who do you think should've won it?
