Sex and the City 2 Special Edition DVD ($24.82) Some people may have criticised the sequel, but if you’re SATC fan, you’ll still want it as part of your collection.

If the name Stefano Canturi doesn't mean anything to you, it should. The renowned Australian jewellery designer, famed his geometric designs, is having quite a year. Having opened his first Stateside boutique in NYC this January, his first foray into fragrance launched into the exclusive Bergdorf Goodman department stores in April. He then — along with the majority of the population — saw his designs appear in the hotly-anticipated Sex and the City 2 movie. It's not the first time the Aussie designer has seen his work grace the silver screen, having created a 134-carat, 1,308-diamond necklace for Nicole Kidman’s character Satine in Moulin Rouge, as well as designs for The Matrix and Superman Returns. Oh and he's the man behind the world's most expensive Barbie.

He was back on home turf this week to launch Canturi eau de parfum to the Australian market — it will bow into Myer later this month. Created alongside perfumer Kevin Verspoor, it is Stefano's first artistic venture outside of jewellery design, but one that shares many parallels: "Like jewellery, fragrance is the ultimate expression of the wearer's personality," he says.

Woah. That's some full-on sun-kissed action happening there. Lucia Pieroni, working for MAC, was responsible for the burnt-orange hue that covered eyes, lips and cheeks at Moschino. The aim of the game was for the models to look like they were walking through the desert. It's Sex and the City 2 but upping the terracotta ante. Even the nails got a coating of bright orange. I'm not sure most would be brave enough to pull off the whole look, but a wash of orange on the lips and cheeks is definitely a pretty look for Summer. Of course I adore what's happening with the hair. LOVE the messy top knot that Eugene Souleiman created using Wella products. And imma have to get me one of those Moschino polka-dot scarves and tie it in a similar knotted headscarf to complete the look. Totally winning poolside look, no? What say you? You like?

There's nothing like a pair of chandelier earrings to add instant glam to an outfit. And if you loved Miranda's baubles in SATC2, you'll be pleased to know that they're by our very own Samantha Wills. Gothic romance meets boho chic? Gimme.
