A US Vogue cover is the holy grail of magazine covers and Taylor Swift has just gone and landed her first ever one. The Grammy-award-winning singer was shot by Mario Testino for the February 2012 issue (which niftily coincides with this year's Grammys) and we're totally drawing comparisons to Claudia Schiffer's June '11 Harper's BAZAAR shoot. The big floppy hat. The kohl-rimmed eyes. The long blonde locks. They're all there. A little bit softer in Taylor's case, but there nonetheless. And we couldn't be happier to see them because Taylor looks simply gorgeous. Flawless. We love the departure from her signature winged eye and red lip combo to this sexy Claudia-esque look. But Claudia wasn't the original purveyor of the look, of course. That credit goes to Ms. Brigitte Bardot. And Taylor pulls it off the iconic look with ease.
