The Twilight girls (sans Kristen Stewart) hit up London's Leicester Square for the UK premiere of Eclipse last night. Ashley Greene bought her extensions as her plus one and sported another braid. I LOVE her hairstyle. I wear it pretty much every day. The side twisted rope braid is a super-easy way to add a little sumthin' sumthin' to your hairstyle and if you can't lay your hands on some dry shampoo, it's a great, yet stylish way to get your strands off your face. Nikki Reed was all about the long, luscious hair, too. She clipped back a section behind her right ear and then let the ends drape over her left shoulder. Noice. Got a favourite look?
It's time for Kristen Stewart to step aside, it's Ashley Greene's time to shine now. Whether Ash's hair is shorter or longer, whether she's wearing a sparkly makeup palette or not, she always, always manages to look pretty and polished. We've selected a few of her most popular looks and told you how you can recreate them at home. Check it out. No need to thank us, no really. Well, if you insist.
As any devoted Bella fan (Swan or Sugar) will know, Eclipse is nearly here. Recap for anyone who's been living under a rock, surviving on moss for the last three years: Eclipse is the third movie in The Twilight Saga which catapulted Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Ashley Greene and co. to fame. If I was Ash, I'd be totes gutted about not having a nickname. Saying that AGree is ridiculous, not to mention already a word. But anywayz, as any mega A-lister knows, looking good is very important. Us discerning T-listers (no way are we Z) judge look to them for inspiration. And Ashley is a good source. For the Belgium premiere, it was hair scrapped back, Cheerios-stylee, and pink lip tint. The day before, in Madrid, she was all about the kohl, golden caramel gloss and half-up, half-down 'do (thank you extensions). Thoughts?
AsEclipse fever heats up, and up and up all eyes are on Kristen Stewart. Especially now she's chopped and changed her hair. Though she never seems to stray away from soom rootalicious volume, her hair and makeup styles are as varied as the characters she plays onscreen — whether sweet like the lovelorn Bella Swan or bad-ass like Joan Jett, she's always changing her look. Check out some of her best looks and find out how to recreate each one, too.
When I spied with my little eye Kristen Stewart's new red strands, I knew I'd seen them somewhere before. I just knew it. And I was right. Back in November 2008 at the premiere of Twilight, KStew was all about the icy blue shadow and tousled red highlights. A-ha! So she's done a Vicky B and returned to a popular style. Good on her, I know she loved the ol' pouffed up brunette style but it was getting a little same-same for me. Almost exactly a year later at the New Moon premiere, she was in her Joan Jett phase, sporting a dark, smoky palette, along with a jet-black rockabilly style. And then just last week for the LA Eclipse premiere, she wore a light smoky eye, complete with a pompadour up 'do. She's come a long way and walked a lot of red carpets in a short space of time, but of her three looks, which is your fave?
She's been blonde, brunette, and everything in between — and now Kristen Stewart is dipping her toe into redhead territory. Just before taping The Late Showwith David Letterman in NY, she stepped out with this rich copper hue with strawberry blonde highlights. All eyes are on KStew this week as the latest Twilight saga film debuts and, as much as you may love her signature style, a change is always good, right? Pop and I are liking it. We loved her blonde, so pretty, so it's nice to see her not so dark and moody. The change of hue instantly seems to make her more approachable, no? What say you, rate it or hate it? I say glam-o-rama. LOVE.
You've already learned that her on-screen alter-ego's red ringlets are all about precision tonging, but that big mass of curls might not be for everyone. This style however is perfectly pretty all-year 'round and even though it looks great if you've got Bryce's length, you can still recreate it if you have a lob. LOVE. Wear with a cute dress and bold lip for a statement Saturday night look that says you haven't tried too hard. David Babaii created the look using Moroccanoil products, here's what he did.
STEP 1: Apply a small amount of Moroccanoil® Treatment ($49.50) on damp hair before blow-drying. It absorbs super quickly and cuts drying time in half.
STEP 2: Work some Moroccanoil® Hydrating Styling Cream ($44.50) into the palms of your hands and finger-comb hair. Next, make a centre part, and begin to create loose waves using a curling tong.
Step 3: Gently tease the hair at the crown to create a little '60s volume and then pin back at small section on either side. Leave the loose waves cascading down your back.
The LA premiere ofEclipse has been and gone (be sure to have your say on mine and Fab's beauty and style polls) and as we said earlier, the Twi-hards amongst us are on official Jacob countdown. As promised, here are the Twilight hotties as you may never have seen them before: pre-muscles, pre-brooding looks and way pre of chest hair. Because who doesn't like to take a stroll down memory lane . . . Oh that's right. Rob, Taylor and Peter, probably!
Umm, back up. Has Mama Cullen, aka Elizabeth Reaser, been taking style tips from Bella Swan Kristen Stewart? This style looks distinctly familiar to me. Wonder why that is? Could it be because it's from the same family as KStew's Oscar look, only Elizabeth's added in some more teasing. Not saying it's bad. Just it's funny (read: insanely annoying) when a "friend" starts stealing your style. Again, Liz has kept the makeup all about the eyes, outlining them in a grey-blue, adding in some mascara (gasp, no false lashes) and some clear gloss. You like?
Jules, listen up. This is a PERFECT example of the Julianne Moore-esque red on red look that I think you should go for. It would look totes rad on you. Do as Bryce has done and pick a nice raspberry pinky-red and everyone'll be saying "Carla, who?" in no time. But back to Bryce. Doesn't she look just lovely. As you'll have probably guessed from the last sentence I am totally digging her look. 'Tis beaut-iful. The hairstyle is elegant, yet effortless, and frankly an improvement on some of her earlier styles. And the silver-white shadow is perfect against her porcelain skin and blue-green eyes. LOVE. What say you?
