Anja Rubik's makeup in the "Ecstasy of the Moment" spread in Vogue Japan's March issue blew our minds. We're big fans of metallic makeup, not to mention the lady behind it — step forward, Ms. Gucci Westman — so it makes sense that we'd love the sultry statement eyes that blend together silver, grey and mauve tones. Whilst the intensity of this particular look may only work on the pages of a fashion magazine, metallic makeup is "always going to be a winner, no matter what the trends are," according to Westman. Our advice? If you stick to a cream formula, they're incredibly easy to apply and to manipulate once on. Plus you get a good colour payoff that you can deepen further by adding powder shadow over the top if you wish.
